Students Must Vote!

Assalamualaikum & Hello!

How are you guys?
Have your life getting any better?
Hopefully you guys did :)

Here is what the entry for today is all about,

" Students must vote during the 'Students' Election' because...."

As an introduction, here is some definitions on the word 'vote' and 'election' itself.

Voting, what is the definition by the root word of voting which is known as 'vote'
  • A formal expression of preference for a candidate for office or for a proposed resolution of an issue.
  • A means by which such a preference is made known, such as a raised hand or a marked ballot.
'Election',
  • (Law / Parliamentary Procedure) selection by vote of a person or persons from among candidates for a position, esp a political office.
  • A public vote on an official proposition.
  • The act or an instance of choosing.

Based on the definition itself, it has shown that for a student the most suitable place to vote  is actually at places such as higher learning institution.

So why is it so important for the student to vote?
As a beginner, those are some impacts to the student if they DO vote during their studies.

  • Students learn the importance of registering to vote.
  • Students learn to identify the issues and make informed decisions.
  • Students learn to mark a ballot correctly.
This experience can be very impactful for young people.  Not only will they feel a part of our country’s process, but they may even remember the experience for the rest of their lives.

Another main reason why the student need to vote during their public student's election is actually to give them knowledge on how powerful their vote can be.
For instance, if the students does not vote during the election and the selected candidate who win the votes does not become the one who they might agree with, so it may brings some conflict in the future.

Futhermore, the vote is important because it actually can determine on how the administration of some institution or organization works. For example, if the selected candidate being chosen is not someone who is sincere to deliver its duty, so the organization might not be run smoothly. In the end, the student who does not vote itself will feel slightly regret.

So here is some of word of wisdom about the importance on voting.

"The elective franchise, if guarded as the ark of our safety, will peaceably dissipate all combinations to subvert a Constitution, dictated by the wisdom, and resting on the will of the people. " - Thomas Jefferson, from The Jeffersonian
Cyclopedia.

LASTLY, DO REMEMBER TO...

Goodbye people! :)
