Sam Gold/Mr Hyde: Ego, Fear, Greed, Ignorance and....

Hi all! Salam aidilfitri.Maaf Zahir Batin.
Neenoo neenoo neenoo since i dont have anything to do.Let me share something wit you :)

It is challenging when confronting our negative side that is within us. Some call it Syaitan, some call it Mr Hyde, and the movie Revolver call it Sam Gold.

So, who is this Mr Hyde or Sam Gold (personality that Revolver refers to)???

"We all have a Hyde side: the rebellious, comfort-seeking, non-ambitious part of our personality. This is a condition of being human. So let this serve as a word of warning. Do not allow Hyde to block your efforts.

Hyde not only knows all your weaknesses, fears, and insecurities, but also knows how to use them against you. This devious little imp inside you plans to employ every method of manipulation available to keep you from adopting self discipline" (Theodore Bryant)

And, the movie Revolver tells us that the prison is the mind and the ego is the hidden master of that environment. The only real enemy to have ever existed is within, it is fear. The external world is determined, to great degree, by ones fear. Fear is the opponent in life, and as you get smarter so does he. Once it's recognized for what it is, it can be mastered, but without recognition of this situation, you are simply an unconscious slave and the game hasn't gone full circle.

Ok till then.Renung-renungkan :)
See you in next entry.Goodnite everyone.Selamat Hari Raya and Maaf Zahir Batin.

A new 100-storey tower in Malaysia a boon or a bane?

Assalamualaikum and Hello to my lovely readers...

Hi..Did you know?

Malaysia's landmark Petronas Twin Towers, center top and other buildings stand in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In The Star, 20 October 2010 it stated Prime Minister Najib Razak plans to bring back some of the attraction  by building a completely new 100-story skyscraper – the Warisan Merdeka tower. The question though is: Does Malaysia need it?

My personal view is that the tower would generate the economy especially around the area and it's a good way to gain higher return on investment.....it's not just about being well known...If you use the money to help people or prevent poverty, you would only 'return' the tax to people...since we are on a very high deficit, building the tower is kinda helpful, don't you think...and returning the tax back to people would only cause the opposite...

It's better if we look at long term effect rather than short term.. the economic development due to the tower might help us get out of the middle income trap..

And, mentality and attitude are very much related to development of a country...

*
Note: deficit is good but if it's too much, we wont be able to sustain in the future :)

Have a great weekend! Goodbye
